Glad to see Planet go. Would like to see more Smashing Pumpkins played. They have some of the best songs of the 90's. I am a huge fan and would like to hear of their new stuff as well. "Freak" is a good song and I would like to see the reaction to it here.

Wow...at all the Limp Bizkit bashers. Did they and Planet not help put Jacksonville on the map. I'm not hating on anything. Sad to see Planet go.....but I was also glad to see X come!

You guys used to own Planet Radio in the music. I knew pretty much any song you guys played would be good. Now pretty much every song you play is bad, and I only occasionally enjoy listening to you. In a 45 minute car ride I might expect one good song. What the heck happened? Please quit playing Rise Against. You play them about 90 times a day. Whatever happened to Shinedown songs? Poof. Gone. Just like my enjoyment of your station.
I remember what I first heard and liked about your station was "One Thing" Don't hear that on many stations. Now I get the same crap I could get on Planet. But at least Planet sprinkles some quality in there. So really, all you've done X1029 is make Planet play less commercials while you play more and more unappealing songs. Thanks a lot.

I get there's a loooot of songs in this genre to play and that you want to play the newest hottest songs, but not all new songs are good.

you love Nirvana, then buy the CD or listen to it on the classic rock station. 18 year old song are not NEW

I just wanted to say that i love this station. I live in gainesville and despite the occasional static, it is completely worth it for the music.
That being said, i would like to request more music by blue october. The whole reason i tuned into this station was because i heard "hate me". All the local stations never play that kind of music anymore.
And i love that you play SSPU
It has been a long time since i could say that almost every song i hear on the radio is one i like.

Oh, by the way, you can stop with the Oasis already...they aren't around anymore! Plus, some of the above listed are even coming to JAX!!! Just another reason you need to start playing them!!! Not to mention, they're the REAL alternative music!

Wow. I didnt know At the Drive-In got any radio play. great band. I doubt it will happen, as the similar artists aren't very mainstream rock friendly, but I would be thrilled if some bands that are similar to Death Cab are played.

These commercials X1029 play knocking Planet is getting old. Every radio station wants to be where Planet is. Cox radio's very own 106.5 gets the highest ratings in Jax (I know, different format. Leave Planet be and just play kickass New Rock!
