747 is a straight driving, loud 3 chord Rock/Garage band out of Jacksonville Florida. Glass shattering raunchy guitars and power driven vocals set the stage for the sound this trio puts out.
The bands members include Michael Evans - Lead Vocals/Bass, Paul Marko - All Guitars, and Joe Senger - Drums/Vocals.
The Band came together in June of 2008 when Paul Marko and Mike Evans got together to work on a project in a demo studio in Melbourne Florida. After a few weeks and several demos later, Producer Paul Marko decided there was something there for sure. They moved the project to Jax...where Vocalist Mike Evans was based, and started looking for the right drummer.
They put the word out and drummer Joe Senger came in for a audition at Stay Tuned Studios in Jax.
It was a perfect fit.
Joe Senger is a hard hitting, stripped-down player...perfect for the 3 chord Modern Vintage rock the band was producing. Still they chose to rehearse for a month or so before making the posting official.
Now that the band was complete, 747 set out working on on the songs for the Debut EP .... In Feb 2009 , The band entered well-respected St Augustine Florida Studio "Retrophonics" with Jim Devito engineering and Paul Marko as Producer. After a 2 day Marathon session the EP was complete.
The master tapes were outsourced for additional mastering to Studio 101 in Melbourne Florida with engineer Brandon Keith. Currently the EP "LIGHT IT UP" is being pitched to Radio Nationwide.
